I opened up this EP without any expectations and it was love at first listen. After finishing it, I immediately went back and listened to it again. Despite the EP only containing 5 tracks, D33J is easily my most listened to artist this week. The music is beat driven, but there’s more an emphasis on melody and textual richness. My two favourites are the lo-fi beat style of Drowning Pools and the first track Park (Tape Version). The warmness of Park (Tape Version) is what had me hooked initially.
