Running Music Mix #30

I’m a tad late with this one. I said every three months and I have failed to deliver. However, I’ll blame you, since I didn’t feel like the one I had made before this was up to scratch. This mix came in a flash of inspiration in the middle of the week and I’m proud of the result. Last time was a complete mixbag of genres, this time we have all tracks which fall under the UK Bass scene, whether that’s Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Funky or whatever you want to call it. Enjoy!

Tracklist

  • Running - Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx
  • The Goose That Got Away - Objekt
  • Bohla – Blawan
  • Ordinary Things – XXXY
  • Battle For Middle You – Julio Bashmore
  • Sketch - Synkro
  • No Limit To Your Love – Dub & Run
  • Limite To Your Love – James Blake
  • The Look (Koreless Remix) - Jacques Greene

Thanks to Kodomut for the great picture.

Running Music Mix #22

This week, Fantastic Mr Fox gives us an eclectic mix to get completely lost in. It’s on the short side, but to keep it worth your while, he puts a lot of tracks in here. The quality is great; Gold Panda, Julio Bashmore and the new Sepalcure track is just a couple of the highlights. He also throws in a collaboration which he’s been doing with Jamie xx. And the cherry on the top is that it’s all mixed together to perfection. Download here.

Hype Machine Radio

Dev kindly offered to give me an interview on the Hype Machine radio show and here is the result. If you missed anything during the last month you’ll be happy to hear new stuff from Fleet Foxes, The Go! Team, Toro Y Moi and my personal picks of Julio Bashmore and the Pop Massacre compilation.
